TITLE: Philosophical Perspectives on Climate Economics

SUBMISSIONS PERIOD: 1 September 2024 until 28 February 2025 (11:59 pm GMT)

SYNOPSIS: The purpose of this topical collection is to bring together perspectives from the philosophy of science on the economics of climate change – its methodological foundations and challenges, central assumptions, the role of value judgements in its models and methods, its interdisciplinary potential, broader relevance for other disciplines, and finally its appropriate role in decision-making, public policy, and society at large.

AUTHOR INSTRUCTIONS: Please submit your contribution (max. 15.000 words) by examining and complying with the editorial guidelines of the European Journal for Philosophy of Science. To submit a paper, you have to select the topical collection in the first drop-down menu when you create a submission (Select Article Type > TC: Philosophical Perspectives on Climate Economics).
