Earlier this year, we announced that we may need to postpone the biennial conference until the coronavirus situation and travel restrictions ease up. The Steering Committee recently met with the Local Organisers to take stock of the situation. They have agreed to the following:

    • EPSA21 will be going ahead as planned on 15-18 September 2021.
    • The conference will have a hybrid format, combining in-person and online presentations.
    • Programme and registration details, as well as practical information, will be made available asap.

In the meantime, keep an eye on the conference website, and we will be in touch again as soon as we have more information for you.

Earlier in the year, we announced plans to run EPSA21 as a hybrid conference combining online and in-person presentations. In light of the ongoing coronavirus situation, it has become necessary to revise our plans once more.

The Steering Committee and the Local Organising Committee have agreed the following:

    • If EPSA21 cannot go ahead as planned in the hybrid format in September 2021 because of the coronavirus situation and travel restrictions, then it will be postponed until April 2022.
    • A decision will be made by early June 2021 at the latest about whether or not the conference is to be postponed.
    • Until then, conference registration will not be opened and participants should not book travel.

Furthermore, if you have received confirmation from the Programme Committee about presenting at EPSA21, the date for confirming all submissions is now 15 June 2021 (previously 15 April 2021).

The organization of the EPSA's Biennial Conference in 2021 is being adversely affected by the global pandemic. We are aware that many of you are facing numerous challenges and uncertainties in the forthcoming months.

The Steering Committee and the Local Organising Committee would like to make it possible for everybody to participate in EPSA21 according to the circumstances.

The current working plan is a hybrid model, combining online and in-person presentations in Turin.

In any event, timely updates will be made available as things develop. So stay tuned, keep an eye on this page, and thank you for your allegiance to the EPSA community!

    Best wishes,

Jan and Vincezo (the Local Organisers)
