"Science Policies, Research Funding, and the Future of the University"
In the morning of Wednesday 15 September there will be a pre-conference roundtable organised by Barbara Osimani. This roundtable presents current debates around science policies, research funding allocation and the future of the university, from diverse epistemological perspectives, not only in view of improving fairness towards the underprivileged, and the efficiency of the system, but also in order to foster a new role for science and research institutions in society.
The abstracts are available here.
